I am running a 200 watt 4 cob system with no frame from Timber Grow Lights. I decided to go no frame for the adjustability considering not all plants grow the same.
- 4 x 50W CLU048 1212 80CRI
- 8 x Picture hangar or d-ring holders for hanging
- 10 x Paracord
- 6 x Adjustable ratchet hangars
- Knife or Cutter
- Allen wrenches or allen head bits
- Ruler or measuring tape
- Screwdriver or bit driver
Step 1: Assembling hangars for each C.O.B unit
First step is to make sure where the mounting holes are located. On this set there were actually mounting holes on the side of the heat sinks. I used the provided allen head bolts to secure the D-rings to the heatsink. (Make sure to bring the bolts with you to match up the size of the holes on the D-rings) After attaching the D-rings to the units I took a strip of paracord and cut it to roughly about 10" long. I tied each end of the paracord to each D-ring and created a low budget hangar.
